The upload procedure seems need a CDC trigger device to enable AUX. Somehow the AUX locked by protection issue.
Yesterday, I have tried two flow and can't make sure who is right.
Procedure 1:
1. remove battery and wait 10min.
2. connect battery.
3. start car-radio.
4. turn the key off.
5. remove icelink.
6. plug a HONDA device to trigger AUX.
7. turn key on and start car-radio.
8. switch FM/AM/CD/CDC.
9. turn key off and remove HONDA device.
10. connect icelink
11. Play MUSIC/Genres/_config/Update/Start_Update.mp3
12. Connect Ipod to icelink and I saw "Dension logo" and show version at right corner.
13. During 10min, the ipod screen switch "Dension logo" only and never show anything.
15. Turn key off and remove ipod
14. Turn key on and connect ipod. The screen never show anything for "Dension logo" and only ipod normal screen.
Procedure 2:
1. Keep battery always alive.
2. Turn key off and plug Honda device to trigger AUX.
3. Turn key on and switch FM/AM/CD/CDC.
4. Turn key off and remove Honda device.
5. Reconnect icelink and turn key on.
6. Play MUSIC/Genres/_config/Update/Start_Update.mp3 and plug ipod to icelink.
7. The "Dension logo" shows logo only.
8. After 10min, to turn key off and on and reconnect ipod.
9. The screen never show anything for "Dension logo" and only ipod normal screen.
Anyway, I can't replace FW from 2.07 to Honda version.

The firmware you uploaded (2.07) on your ice>Link hasn't got the Honda interface.

FW upgrade :
Follow the steps below to update firmware when menu is not available:
Delete previous update files and reset iPod. Copy the update package to iPod (cca 750 files). Copy the Start_Update.mp3 onto iPod. Disconnect iPod from PC. Power on the car radio and change source to ice>Link (CD changer). Select Browse/Genres/_config/Menu/Update/Start_Update song and play it on iPod. While playing, insert iPod into the cradle or connect the dock cable; update process will start automatically.
After about 5 minutes, ice>Link will restart with the new firmware. While displaying "Dont browse.." message you can check version number in the top right corner
of the screen.

Reconfigure :
You can reconfigure head unit type any time. Download and copy Configuration Clear file to iPod, disconnect from the PC and start playing.
While iPod is playing silently the file, connect iPod to ice>Link Plus. Current configuration will be deleted and you can reconfigure ice>Link Plus
select the configuration file CarIf_Honda.mp3 and run it. During playback, insert iPod to the cradle or connect dock cable.
You will see the text like this on the iPod:
" please visit install.dension.com to get carradio configurations " (you do not have to download it is in the attachement.)
This screen will pop-up for few seconds, followed by the next screen.
"Volkswagen config selected, please turn ignition on and off again. select cd-changer"
Please follow the directions on the display.
Once system is reinitialized, it should be recognized by your radio as a CD-changer type of device.
Please keep the sequence of the steps. so your product will be working again.

Hi,
I have installed ice-link plus and it was function as I want. It's good ideal and production.
Few day ago, I re-install firmware from v3.02 to v2.07 and everything be wrong.
1. The AUX-IN can't accept ice-link and switch to CD-C and re-charge only.
2. The dension logo disappear at ipod screen.
3. I can't find right firmware from internal.
Would you tell me the right procedure and how to recover firmware?
Also, I tried to use carif_xxxx.mp3 and start_update.mp3 to clean. The machine never show dension logo.
Car: Honda Accord 2003. (Original firmware is 3.02 and function)
Ipod: 5G Video 60G (recently firmware version.)
